The Liberal Studies Master of Arts program consists of 8 separate programs of study. These programs are interdisciplinary and cross-departmental. Students approach a particular culture, geographical area, or historical period by drawing on all three of the traditional liberal arts fields—the humanities, social sciences, and the arts. The aim is to reach across departmental boundaries rather than choose to research one area exclusively.
The Liberal Studies Master of Arts degree requires 36 points, of which at least 30 must be at the graduate level. The M.A. degree in Human Rights Studies requires 30 points.
