During the December - January semester break, graduate students are invited to subscribe to the BreakWriting listserv. Then twice a week during the semester break, BreakWriters receive an e-mail with tips, resources, and encouragement for writing, editing, and completing papers, manuscripts, theses, and dissertations.

Anyone can subscribe to the BreakWriters listserv by sending an e-mail to listserv@cuvmc.ais.columbia.edu. In the message line type Subscribe BreakWriting. To unsubscribe send the message Unsubscribe BreakWriting to the same address.
