The Associate Dean is responsible for the general welfare of GSAS
students, advises the Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC), works
with a variety of campus groups--including libraries and housing--to
ensure quality of services for GSAS students. The associate dean is
also responsible for international exchange programs and monitors the work required to establish new academic degree programs,
orientation, graduation and convocation ceremonies, and the daily
management of the Graduate Student Lounge and GSAS Resource Center in
301 Philosophy.
