Does the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences participate in online tracking?
Yes. You can check the status of your application and supporting documents,
including letters of evaluation, by going to the section titled
"Downloadable Forms" and clicking on "Application Status" in the
ApplyYourself online application
What information will I need in order to view my application status?
You will need your AY Pin and Password.
What should I do if my supporting documents do not appear in online tracking?
There may be a delay in the posting of information on the online
tracking system. So please check periodically before contacting the
admissions office (see question below).
If I have a still have a question or wish to amend any information concerning my application, whom do I contact?
If you have a question not answered on our website or need to update any information please notify the admissions office directly via email at gsas_apply@columbia.edu. In the subject line type in: Question Not Answered on Website or Change Application Information. In the text of the email, you must include your name, date of birth and the department to which you are applying.
Will I be notified by GSAS when my application is sent to the department for review by the Faculty Admissions Committee?
When your application is sent to the department that information is posted on the "Application Status form" located on the "Downloadable Forms" section of the online application.
