Faculty in the Graduate Schools of Business and Law and the Departments of Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics, Astronomy, Computer Science, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Economics Psychology and Statistics cooperate in offering a graduate interdisciplinary program in mathematical structures for environmental and social sciences. Interested students should apply to the Ph.D. programs in one of the participating departments and consult Professor Chichilnisky at an early stage of their graduate careers. The program focusses on three areas: mathematical biology, environmental economics, and the mathematics of risk and financial markets.
