Columbia University uses an electronic billing system as the
official method for notifying students to view and pay their tuition
and fees online. The following is an outline of the E-Billing system,
including a number of benefits to students and their families:

Once on the E-Billing site, students may set up parents, spouses, partners, or others as Authorized Payers, giving them access to view the Student Account Statement and make online payments via eCheck.

If you are an Authorized Payer ( set up in
advance by a student), you will also receive an email announcing that
the Student Account Statement is ready to be viewed and paid
online. The link provided will take you directly to the E-Billing website, where you can securely log in with your user name and password created for you by a student.
Please note: After logging on for the first time, to ensure security
and privacy, authorized payers should change their password.
Please note: Authorized payers will only be able to see the history of online payments they have made themselves.
