• An email announcing that the Student Account Statement is ready to be viewed/paid online will be sent to the student's official Columbia email address. These messages will be sent up to 11 times a year, whenever there is activity (debit or credit) on the account.
  
  
  • The email will include a link to Student Services Online (SSOL), where students can safely log in to the E-Billing website by using their University Network ID (UNI) and password.

• Once on the E-Billing site, students may set up parents, spouses, partners, or others as Authorized Payers, giving them access to view the Student Account Statement and make online payments via eCheck.
  
  
  • If you are an Authorized Payer (set up in advance by a student), you will also receive an email announcing that the Student Account Statement is ready to be viewed and paid online. The link provided will take you directly to the E-Billing website, where you can securely log in with your user name and password created for you by a student.

Please note:  After logging on for the first time, to ensure security and privacy, authorized payers should change their password.

• Once logged in, all E-Billing users will be on the “Message Board” of the website. Please review the important Columbia information that will be posted on this page.
  
  
  • Click on “View Accounts” to see the current Student Account Statement.
  • To make payments via eCheck (an online debiting from a bank account), click “Make Payment.”
  • To print the bill, click on the PDF icon on the “View Accounts” screen. This copy can be used for records-keeping, or for mailing payments to Columbia.  An E-Billing user can also print any E-Billing screen by clicking the print icon on his or her browser toolbar.

• Other functions include the ability to see up to twelve months of Student Account Statements (select “Statement History” from the drop-down menu on the “View Accounts” screen), and the ability to see a history of online payments.

Please note:  Authorized payers will only be able to see the history of online payments they have made themselves.
