ID Cards

To obtain a Columbia ID card, click on ID Cards from the GSAS Orientation Web page and follow the instructions. You will need to have activated your UNI and email account first. Remember your UNI is the beginning characters of your new email address (i.e., everything before @columbia.edu). The complete instructions to obtain a Columbia ID card can also be found on the ID Center website at: http://www.columbia.edu/cu/id/docs/Submit_Photo/index.html.

You have the option of submitting your own ID photo online: upload a JPEG photo, make necessary adjustments through an easy-to-use photo editor and then submit the photo directly into the ID card system. The photo will be reviewed and approved (or denied if not meeting outlined criteria) by ID Center staff. Students will receive an email confirmation upon photo approval or notified if a new photo is required. Submitting an online photo should lead to shorter wait times at the ID Center during registration. Questions about ID cards should be directed to: askus@coloumbia.edu. You should type “ID Question” in the subject line of your email.

You will pick up you your ID card during registration (September 1st to 3rd) in 204 Kent Hall.
