There are several general principles and guidelines you should follow to ensure that your application receives full consideration. First, the application should be prepared as early as possible. Second, to apply to the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (GSAS), you must have a baccalaureate degree granted by an accredited college or university by the time you plan to matriculate.Third, GSAS requires submission of scores from the Graduate Record Examination General Test (GRE) . Students must also submit any special admissions requirements determined by individual GSAS departments, such as the GRE subject test scores or a writing sample. For other specific requirements, please refer to Admissions Information or the department website.
