Program Participation Eligibility:
The Office of Minority Affairs will waive the application
fee for applicants who are applying for admission to one of the 31 Arts and
Sciences Programs within GSAS and are current participants (or within 2 years
of having been a participant) in one of the programs listed below for at least a year. Applicants who meet these requirements are required to complete the “ Special Programs Fee Waiver Request”
and submit a hard copy letter from the coordinator or director of the
program indicating the length of time of your enrollment and whether
you are still in the program or have graduated in the past two years. The Special Programs Fee Waiver Request and supporting materials must be received
prior to the deadline of your designated program of study.

The Fee Waiver is a one-time offer for eligible applicants.
PLEASE NOTE:These
policies only apply to the 31 Arts and Sciences Programs within GSAS.If you are applying to another division of
GSAS or Columbia University, you should consult with the admissions
office for that program.
