Christopher Nelson joined Health Services at Columbia in 2002. Prior to joining HSC, Christopher was Senior Manager of Systems Development for Merck-Medco Managed Care, L.L.C; Senior Information Technology Manager for First Consulting Group Management Services, L.L.C.; and has worked as a manager of information systems for New York Presbyterian and New York University medical centers. He is originally from New York and received his B.A. and M.P.H. degrees from Columbia University.
Christopher’s interests include health informatics and benchmarking, information security, user interfaces, HIPAA, and managed care.
