Alice! Health Promotion Program

Melissa Kenzig joined Health Services at Columbia in 2004. In her role, she directs the Alice! Health Promotion Program and communications and outreach for Health Services at Columbia. Prior to joining HSC, Melissa was the Coordinator for the Student Health Education Program at the University of San Francisco, where she also taught classes. She is originally from Ohio and attended The Ohio State University for her bachelor’s degree, the University of South Carolina for her master’s degree, and is currently completing her doctorate at Columbia University.

Melissa’s academic interests include feminist and multicultural health theories, leadership development, program development and evaluation. Her personal interests include yoga, hiking, reading, and playing with her dogs.
