Sara Berger joined Health Services at Columbia in 2005. Prior to coming to HSC, Sara was an administrator of outpatient and residential treatment programs and provided administrative and quality assurance consultation to a variety of mental health agencies and to the New York State Office of Mental Health. She attended New York University, where she completed her B.A. in Psychology, and the Columbia School of Social Work where she earned her Master’s degree.

Sara’s professional interests include the administration of clinical programs to ensure that they remain responsive to the populations they serve and provide their client populations with highest level of clinical care. While Sara is licensed to practice social work, she uses her training to enhance her role as a full time administrator at CPS. In addition to her work at Columbia, she provides quality assurance consultation to The Post Graduate Center for Mental Health.
