Dr. Dominic Biney-Amissah joined Health Services at Columbia in June of 2005. Prior to joining HSC, he held a position as a hopitalist in Northwest New Jersey, providing care to both adults and children. Prior to his career in medicine, Dominic worked as a teacher in the New York City public high school system, where he taught biology and chemistry to students in all four grade levels. He attended the State University of Albany and received his M.D. from Robert Wood Johnson 
Medical School in New Jersey.

Dominic is trained in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
