Nutrition Counseling

Columbia students can meet with a Registered Dietitian who will provide individual counseling and help students understand and meet their unique nutrition needs. If you're interested in learning more about healthy eating habits for yourself, please make an appointment. Healthy eating means eating when you are hungry, and eating until you are satisfied; eating three meals or several small meals/snacks a day; overeating and undereating at times. Healthy eating means you can choose food you like, eat for pleasure, eat for nourishment, and eat in moderation. Healthy eating sometimes means giving yourself permission to eat whatever your mood dictates or because it feels good. Healthy eating takes some of your time and attention, but remains just one important area of your life.
