Mailing List

The Club operates a mailing list to which the monthly schedule is sent (in addition to being posted on the website). Schedules for a month are typically sent out the last week of the preceding month. The mailing list is managed automatically by software.

To have your email address added to the mailing list:

Send a subscribe email to "hiking-request@columbia.edu" with just the word "subscribe" as the message.

If you are not sure whether you are on the list, just send a subscribe email as directed, and if you are already on the list the request will be ignored.

Note that signing up for the mailing list does not make you a "club member" for trip signup purposes, nor does paying your semester dues automatically add you to the mailing list. For information on club membership, look here.

To have your email address removed from the mailing list:

Send mail from the subscribed account to "hiking-request@columbia.edu" with just the word "unsubscribe" as the body.
