History

Biography
Brandon County (B.A. Carleton College, 2000) studies African history, focusing on the history of West Africa, labor history, and colonial and postcolonial history.

Brandon is currently writing a dissertation entitled "Cheminots into Citizens: Labor, Migration, and Political Imagination along the Dakar-Niger Railroad, 1923-1974."
