Biography
Jennifer Tappan is a Ph.D. Candidate in African History at Columbia University. Her areas of specialization include the social history of East Africa, the history of colonial science, medicine and public health, the Atlantic slave trade and slavery in Africa and the political economy of the Buganda Kingdom in the twentieth century.
