History

Biography
Benno Weiner (B.A., University of California at Santa Barbara, 1995; M.A., Columbia University, 2002) studies modern Chinese history, focusing on Tibetan and inner-Asian history, and the history of empire and nation.

Benno is currently writing a dissertation entitled "The Chinese Revolution on the Tibetan Frontier: Fragmentation, Integration and State Building on the Ethnic Margins of New China."
