We have compiled these guidelines to help you prepare for the upcoming year as Columbia students in New York City.
The guide should answer most of your questions regarding your residence hall, check-in procedures, and housing policies, as well as information about planning and packing for school, and safety and security procedures.

Students will be held accountable for all of the information found in the online Guide to Living, including all of the policies and procedures outlined within it. In an effort to reduce our environmental footprint at Housing Services, we will no longer be distributing physical copies of the Guide to Living to students. Therefore, please read it carefully and refer back to it, both throughout the year and as you prepare for your arrival at Columbia.
