Columbia University Housing

All residence hall bedrooms come with basic furnishings, including a bed (bed frame & mattress), chair, chest of drawers, desk, bookshelves, a wardrobe or closet, and a wastebasket. Your windows are covered with miniblinds or shades. Your mattress is extra long (36" x 80") and your bed frame is either 9.5 inches off the floor, or it is adjustable.

You must keep all furnishings in your room, including bed frames and mattresses. Due to space limitations, we cannot provide alternate storage for any furniture. You will be charged if any furniture is missing.
