Columbia University Housing

The resident agrees to occupy the space assigned, and not to permit any part of that space to be occupied by any person not duly assigned or authorized in writing by Housing Services.

When a student ceases to be eligible for residence, he/she is expected to vacate the space assigned and return all keys. Failure to vacate will result in the charges set forth in Transfer or Exchange of Assignment and Termination by the University, and in the University packing and shipping his/her belongings. Any charges incurred in the packing and shipping of belongings will be billed to the student.
