600 West 113thThis residence hall is the newest hall on campus, converted from an apartment building in 2003. The upper half of the apartment building houses graduate students and some tenants, so residents share the building with residents other than Columbia undergraduate students. 600 West 113th has a prime location on Broadway, just above Nussbaum and Wu on 113th Street.
Layout
600 West 113th is a mix of both single and double rooms located along corridors within a suite. Included in these suites are two private bathrooms, a kitchen area, and a lounge area with a cable television. Some rooms have their own bathrooms within their rooms as well. There are four suites on each floor, with an adjoining door that allows entry into the adjacent suite.
RA Rooms: 3D2, 5D2, 10D2 Room Selection NotesMostly sophomores and juniors live in the doubles, while seniors pick into the large singles. What Students Say"This dorm is amazing! It has a very residential feel, the location is very convenient, and it's always kept incredibly clean. A lot of the rooms have their own bathrooms too!"
"This dorm was great because of its location on Broadway and its hardwood floors. I could just hop outside to get all of my errands done, meet up with my friends, or hit the 110th Street subway stop."
