Wien
Wien is located on the east side of campus, on 116th Street between Amsterdam and Morningside Avenues, with easy access to Morningside Park. It was recently renovated in 2000-2002, and now has new furniture and windows in each room, along with a new roof as well. The street address for Wien Hall is 411 W. 116th Street.
Layout
This 12-story corridor-style residence hall has 296 singles and 36 doubles. Every floor is made up of single rooms, double rooms, and large walk-through doubles. There are single-sex bathrooms that alternate floors: men's bathrooms are on floors 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12; women's bathrooms are on 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11. Each bedroom is equipped with a personal sink. Lenfest Cafe is located across the courtyard and residents may use the communal kitchen is in the basement for their own cooking needs. The main lounge on the ground floor has a ballroom décor, with a grand piano, chandelier, and many high-backed chairs. Another smaller lounge on the 2nd floor has a cable television.

Juniors want the single rooms and large walk-through doubles, while sophomores get the regular-sized double rooms.
