General Selection
General Selection takes place online in April. Based on how you have registered (as an individual or as a group of two to ten people), you will log in using your UNI and password and select your room. You cannot log in until your assigned appointment date/time, but you can select a room at any time after your appointment and until General Selection ends. Entering General Selection as a GroupStudents wishing to form a group and live together in a building other than East Campus, Hogan, Ruggles, Woodbridge, Watt, and 47 Claremont may participate in General Room Selection. During Registration, choose General Selection as a Group. Typically, friends trying to get singles next to each other in Schapiro, River, Wien, 600 W. 113, and Broadway would fall into this category. However, it is not necessary for a group to stay together in General Selection. Once inside the selection site, the group may split up and select into any individual spaces remaining, even if they are in different buildings. If a member of the group cannot make the appointment time, he/she may designate a proxy to select a room in their place. Men and women may form groups together for General Selection. However, all double rooms can only be assigned to students of the same gender. BC students are not eligible to participate in General Selection. |
