Suite Selection

Suite Selection takes place Thursday, April 10 - Wednesday, April 16 in John Jay Lounge. No selections will be made on either Saturday, April 12 or Sunday, April 13. Group sizes can range from 2 to 8 and must be the exact size as the suite you wish to select (i.e. a group of 6 cannot select a 4-person suite plus a double room, a group of 4 cannot select a 5-person suite, or a group of 6 cannot select 3 doubles).

Your group cannot enter John Jay Lounge until your appointment date/time, or without all members or their proxy's present. All members must show their valid CUID to enter the Lounge.

If your group does not want or is unable to select a suite during Suite Selection, you will automatically drop to General Selection and receive a new appointment date and time (but keep your same lottery number). If one person in a group chooses to drop to General Selection, the entire group also drops.

Suite Selection Space

The following is an estimated number of suites, their sizes, and types for each building included in Suite Selection. The numbers shown include all spaces and do not reflect those suites that may be held for Residence Life Coordinators, Resident Advisors, students with disabilities, Special Interest suites, or Fraternity/Sorority space. Watt Hall single studios are not available in Group Suite Selection. They are placed in General Selection only. See the Rules & Exceptions section to see Space Held Out of Room Selection.
