Columbia Human Rights Law
Review Submissions The Columbia Human Rights Law Review (HRLR) welcomes the submission of unsolicited manuscripts of proposed articles and book reviews for possible publication. Accepted contributions generally deal directly with, or are otherwise relevant to, current ideas in international human rights and domestic civil rights law, including pieces from interdisciplinary perspectives. We seek pieces with balanced legal analysis, or pieces that justify a position and advocate it cogently. We welcome works by scholars, practitioners, and others with knowledge of the human rights field. Submitted articles should range from 40 to 100 pages, including footnotes, and be double-spaced in a 12-point font with 1" margins. The journal uses Bluebook (standard law journal) citation format. It is not necessary to send a copy of the article on diskette when initially submitting it for review, but articles accepted for publication must have been created in WordPerfect 7.0 or Microsoft Word 6.0 or later versions of either program. Manuscripts and book reviews should be sent to: Submissions Editor Manuscripts may also be submitted as an e-mail attachment
