About the Pediatric Clinic

Here at Columbia University Comprehensive Center for Children and Adolescents Pediatric Dentistry Clinic, we are dedicated to providing the highest level of comprehensive dental care to our patients.

At the clinic, children are seen by residents who are specializing in the field of pediatric dentistry and CDM student dentists, according to their age.  Since pediatric dentistry is an age defined specialty, these residents and student dentists are especially qualified for treating children.

It is never too early to make an appointment at the Pediatric Clinic.  The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatrics both recommend that all children be seen by a dentist by their first birthday.  If your child has oral problems or complaints before the age of one, please make an appointment immediately.

After the initial screening, a resident or student dentist will formulate a treatment plan for your child, based on your child’s individual needs.

Please call 212.305.6754 to set up your child’s appointment at one of our clinics.
