The Implant Center
If you're missing teeth or need to have one or more teeth removed, you may be a good candidate for dental implants. Dental implants are artificial roots that are anchored to the jawbone and attached to natural-looking replacement crowns, resulting in substitute teeth that resemble and feel more like your own.
Dental implants have certain advantages over traditional methods of replacing lost teeth: They are permanent (no shifting, moving, breaking, or falling out in mid-sentence) and do not require adhesives or invasive bridging procedures to stay in place. There is, however, one distinct disadvantage: Dental implant surgery can run anywhere from $1,000 to $30,000, depending on the number of replacement teeth needed.
The Implant Center at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center can help, providing these state-of-the-art services and restoring you to a healthy, self-confident smile at a fraction of the cost.
