WHO ARE WE?

The Haitian Students Association is made up of Haitians, First and second generation Haitian Americans and people interested in Haiti and her culture.

What We Do?

We sponsor various events on campus and around New York City. We work with other cultural and non-cultural groups on campus and co-sponsor events such as the CSA Culture Show. For example a guided tour of the Basquiat Exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum and Haitian Cooking Classes at the Maison Française. We offer creative experiences that will allow you a glimpse into our colorful culture!

Who Can Join?

Anyone who has an interest in and/or wants to learn about Haiti and its wonderful culture is welcome.

Anyone who enjoys eating excellent Haitian food (Which is served at most of our meeting FYI)

Anyone who is looking for a homey, comfortable, and safe place on campus!

And, NO you DO NOT have to be Haitian!!!

HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED
General body meetings are held every other Tuesday with some exceptions. Please check the calendar for exact dates and times. Elections for Executive Board positions are usually held the end of the Fall semester, this way even new students can run for office and and hold a post with the benefit of the previous e-board still around to help.

Oh yeah...in case the pleasure of our company is not enough of a draw, you should know that at all of out events we serve up excellent Haitian food provided by Krik Krak, a local Haitian restaurant.
