What: Lead engineers and managers from Motorola's Mobile Devices business will host an engineering discussion on how mobile devices are built from the perspective of Electrical, RF, Mechanical and Software engineering disciplines. A speaker from each discipline will talk about the work they do towards building cell phones using examples from past and current projects.

Student Professional Awareness Conference

What: A conference, open to all schools within the area, where several experienced engineers from industry will give talks about how to get the most out of your career as an electrical engineer. Talks on writing winning resumes and on general career and life management will be given.

What: A technical presentation by Lecroy, a company started by Columbia graduates that specializes in making oscilloscopes and test and measurement equipment. At the presentation, they will be unveiling their state-of-the-art flagship SDA11000 series of oscilloscopes as well as giving a discussion on the IC and RF/microwave technology used in the scopes. They will also be taking resumes from students.
