Biography
Zainab Bahrani is the Edith Porada Associate Professor of Ancient Near Eastern Art and Archaeology and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Art and Archaeology at Columbia University. Her interests include: Ancient Art & Architecture of the Mediterranean & the Middle East; colonial, postcolonial theory and criticism, gender and feminist theories. She received her Ph.D from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, 1989. | |
