Sorry to publish the JEC so late this week...I just came down with a bad case of flu so I was asleep last night instead of editing and e-mailing the Calendar. Hopefully many of you will still get it in time for it to be useful. --------------------- Jewish Student Union SHABBAT ANNOUNCEMENTS December 4, 1992 --------------------- 1) Tonight at 6pm, the JSU and the Muslim Student Organization are sponsoring a visit from the Bosnian Muslim Abassador to the United Nations. He will speak on "Bosnia: Self-determination in the Face of Extermination" in 304 Barnard Hall. Come to an Oneg! for refreshments and a reading of "I Don't Know Where You're Coming From At All" a one act play about love, war, resepect, and rage. Tonight at 8:30 in Wien Lounge. Sponsored by JTE and the JSU. 2) Tomorrow, Yavneh's going ice skating from 8:30 to 11pm at the Sky Rink. CJC is having Shabbat Morning Services from 9am to noon in the Dodge Room. The CJC Shabbat Afterbnoon Study Group will be postponed until 2:15 in the Schiff Room. 3) Sunday evening, NYSIPAC is sponsoring a special forum: "How to Lobby Your Congressperson" in 405 Kent at 6:30. Later that night, you cannot miss Heathers, the funky, quirky, irreverent film that's playing for RJC's movie night. For $1 you get popcorn and great company. 7:30 in Reid Lounge. If you hated high school, this film's for you. 4) Monday and Tuesday Yavneh elections will be held. 5) Thursday evening the Social/Cultural committee is sponsoring a Rodeo Fest from 5 to 7:30 in Wien Lounge.
