You need Hot Chocolate. Worry not, one of the first actions of the new JSU Board is to provide hot cocoa in the Jewish Office when it's open. So come to the Office, hang out, schmooze, and sip. You don't even need to go to the Twilight Zone. 10] Next Shabbat, we will be hosting 30 developmentally delayed men and women. They will join us at services and Shabbat meals. I am pleased to announce that the Jewish Electronic Calendar is now also available through ColumbiaNet under item "4: Calendar, Events & Schedules". "notes jewish" is an open forum for Jewish-related discussions, on Columbia's cunix systems. If you know of a Jewish event or a surprise rally, post it there. If you add the word "jewish" (without quotes) to ~/.notesrc, cunix will automatically check for new messages in "notes jewish". This calendar is also posted there. If you would like to see something new in this publication, make it happen! Perhaps you would like to see a weekly explanation or derash of the parasha. Ideas and constructive comments are always welcome. Volunteer to help gather information and edit the calendar! Send e-mail to mig@columbia.edu. Make sure all of your group's Jewish events are included in the next calendar! Events for inclusion in this calendar should be submitted to the Jewish Student Union office by Tuesday at 5 pm. Specify that you want your event in the Jewish Electronic Calendar, as well as the printed calendars.
