Several people have e-mailed to suggest that I e-mail the JEC earlier than
   Friday afternoon.  I, too, would like to send it earlier.  In order to
   send the JEC on Thursday, I would need all of the materials for that
   edition by Thursday afternoon.  However, the JSU staff has been unable to
   provide their Shabbat Announcements until after 12:30 pm on Friday, and
   often later.  I feel that the Shabbat Announcements are integral to the
   JEC, therefore I must wait for them.  If enough people feel that this is
   important to them, then perhaps it would be possible to petition the JSU
   to finish at least a subset of the Shabbat Announcements by Thursday.
   Please e-mail me your comments on this and I will pass them along in print
