Remember to remind your teachers if you will be missing classes, assignments or tests. Your teachers are required by University policy (and Federal law, I believe) to accomodate religious observance in a reasonable manner. However sometimes teachers ask that you hand in work early rather than granting extensions! If you need assistance with this (such as a letter from Rabbi Sheer), please come to the JSU office on the first floor of Earl Hall. There is a list of religious holidays in your school's bulletin and Jewish calendars are available at the JSU office. There will be a PIZMON concert on Sunday October 15th (Shemini Atzeret) at JTS, probably at 10:00 pm.
