    This Shabbat Rabbi Sheer will be giving a Torah study class in the Schiff room at 11:45. The topic is: abortion and Jewish law.

    Come to Bikur Cholim, visiting the sick, at St. Lukes Hospital every Shabbat afternoon. Meet either in meal plan or at the Barnard Gates at 2pm. JTS students may meet at 113th & Amsterdam near the hospital entrance.

    What do you think about pluralism in the Jewish community? Come to a discussion sponsored by the Inter-Jewish Dialogue on Sunday at 1pm in Claremont. See Tali Herman or Josh Meisels for more info.

    Come audition for this year's Yiddishkeit Festival this Sunday at 4pm in the John Jay Lounge.

    The Jewish women's coalition presents "The Hidden and the Revealed-Jewish women in the Purim Story" Tuesday at 8pm in the Jewish Office.

    The Israel Programs Fair is this Wednesday from 6:30 - 8 in the Earl Hall auditorium. Come find out about schools, programs, and internships in Israel.

    Lionpac presents Professor Naomi Weinberger, who has served on several international task forces and is an expert on Israeli security issues, who will be speaking on the Israeli Peace Process, Monday at 7:30pm in 204 FBH. Free food.

    First-year students are invited to a Monty Python movie night, this Thursday, Feb. 22. Call the Jewish Office for details.

    The 4th annual David Oshri Memorial Yachad Shabbaton will take place on February 23 & 24. Yachad is an organization for developmentally disabled adults. If anyone would like to help or organize, contact Rachel Feinerman.

    KOACH will be sponsoring their 1st Friday night dinner of the semester on February 23rd. Sign up in the Jewish Office. Cost is $8.

    The Jewish Collegiate Festival for the Performing Arts is February 25th. There will be theater, dancing, and a cappella groups from schools throughout the Northeast. Tickets are available in the Jewish Office.

    The Sephardic Culture Club's movie event has been moved to Monday, Feb. 26th. Join us for a classic movie and pseudo-Egyptian food. Call the Jewish Office for more info.

    There are weekly Gayava meetings at 8:30 PM on Tuesdays in the Jewish Office. Contact Jason Klein through the Jewish office.

    Anyone interested in being on the JSU senior class gift committee or the JSU senior party committee, contact Steve Furer.

    Anyone interested in helping plan events for Purim contact Gail Katz.

    The Jewish Office now has copies of Rav Lichtenstein's and Rav Amital's lectures in reaction to the Rabin assassination. Stop by to read them or borrow them overnight.
