    Friday night's Oneg Shabbat or Oyneg Shabes is sponsored by the Yiddish club who will entertain you with dramatic readings of Yiddish stories in English. John Jay Lounge at 9pm.

    Come to Feinberg Auditorium to see JTE's production of "A Streetcar Named Desire" this Saturday night through Monday night at 8pm.

    This Saturday night, Gayava -- Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Jews at Columbia will be attending Jewish Movies at the Lesbian and Gay experimental film festival and gay movies at the Israeli Film Festival. call Jason at 37304 or email gayava @columbia right af ter shabbat.

    Saturday night, join the First Year council at "a Streetcar Named Desire" followed by an ice cream bash in JTS Student Lounge. Admission $1

    Join the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Cooperation with Deutsches Haus of Columbia for a book and slide presentation of Edward Serotta's new book, "Jews, Germany, Memory: A Contemporary Portrait" Monday, November 25th from 7-9pm 420 West 116th S t.

    Save the date! Koach's second Shabbat dinner of the semester will be held December 13. All are welcome.

    Check out the bulletin board outside the Jewish Office for info. about great trips to Israel, especially through the Hillel and job opportunities. Deadlines are a comin!

    Hannukah is coming and candles and menorahs will be on sale in the Jewish office after Thanksgiving Break.

    Chabad will be constructing a huge Menorah on college walk.

    Candle lighting will be done on a group basis in residence halls. Contact Gail Katz if you would like to conduct lighting in your residence hall.

    Friday night dinner is at 5:45pm.

    Shabbat Lunch is at 12:30pm

    There is no minyan on campus on Shabbat morning.

    Mincha is at 4pm followed by Seudah Shelishit and Maariv.

    Havdalah is at 5:17pm
