The Hillel Spitzer forum on leadership, public policy, race relations, & middle east process with hundreds of students throughout the country will join together in Washington DC this March 16. Speakers will include major Israeli & American politic al figures & intellectuals. Partial funding available. AETT members are eligible for full scholarship. A special tour of the Holocaust Museum in Washington sponsored by Hillel of New York will take place on Sunday during spring break. 46 Jewish & black students will jointly take the tour. The cost is $25 for first timers. You must sign up this week in the Jewish Office.
Are you looking for affordable housing? The Bayit, Columbia's Jewish student residence, is interviewing now for the summer, and next fall occupancies. Undergraduates and graduates, of all Jewish backgrounds, are welcome to apply.
Project for the Homeless, co-sponsored by the JSU and Community Impact, needs more volunteers to staff its shelters in two local synagogues. This is something you can do regularly or even just once. Please call Aaron Levy.
