This Shabbat will be Rabbi Kret's last Shabbat at the Old Broadway Synagogue. In his honor, Yavneh will be canceling all of its services this weekend will be going as a community to pray with him at 125th Street & Old Broadway. Meet at the 116th gate at 4:10PM tonight.
Join Bikur Cholim, visiting the sick, at St. Luke's hospital. Meet us at 2PM in Barnard's Hewitt dining room or at 113th & Amsterdam entrance.
The Jewish Women's Coalition is holding Jewish Women in the Arts Coffeehouse on 11/16. Come showcase your talents or cheer on your friends. Men & women are welcome.
JSU Elections! All registered JSU members can vote Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday between 9AM - 5PM at various locations around Barnard, Columbia & JTS (see our flyers for the specific spots) or vote outside the Jewish Office.
On Tuesday, Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, author & master teacher from Israel, will deliver our annual Blauner Lecture in Low Rotunda. We expect a large crowd so come early. Doors open a 7:30PM, lecture begins at 8PM.
Dr. Samuel Klagsbrun, noted psychiatrist will speak about the "Jewish Response to Domestic Violence", on Wednesday at 7:30 PM in John Jay Lounge.
Challah Baking, sponsored by the Jewish Women's Coalition will be on Thursday, 11/20 between 6-8PM at Mathilde Schechter Residence Hall, 415 W. 120th St. to bake it & come back Friday between 10AM-12N to braid it. Cost is $4 for supplies. You must RSVP with Tali at TRS15@columbia.edu to reserve your kneading board.

Join 11/11 - the pluralism project on campus for a 24 hour Learn-A-Thon starting on Thursday, 11/20 at 1PM until Friday, 11/21 at 1PM in East Campus Lounge.
