    Israel at 50 & Beyond & the Oneg Committee present storyteller Vered Hankin tonight in John Jay at 10PM.

    Rabbi Charles sheer will be giving a special class Shabbat morning on the Haggadah at 11:45AM in the Earl Hall Schiff Room. As part of Israel at 50 & Beyond Rabbi Sheer will speak on "The Biblical Claim to the Land of Israel" in the Dodge Room at 4:15PM.

    The Israel Army Boot Camp is meeting at the Sundial Sunday morning, 9AM, come rain or shine. Wear Jeans & comfortable clothing. Please be aware the BBQ is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control.

    Passover Community Seders – an informal, singing, traditional Seder for Columbia students will be on Friday 4/10 & Saturday 4/11nights. Advance registration is necessary ($12 per Seder) in 105 Earl Hall by Tuesday 4/7. We are looking for someone to help lead the Seder, if you are interested, contact Rabbi Charles Sheer.

    Home Hospitality – Would you like to invite a student to your Seder? Would you like to attend a family Seder? Come to 105 Earl Hall by Tuesday 4/7 at noon.

    Passover Meals – Barnard Dining Services will serve Passover food throughout the holiday. You must pre-order these meals in the Hewitt Dining Office. Wednesday, 4/8, 5PM is the deadline for intermediate days’ meals (Monday 4/13-Thusday lunch). Wednesday, 4/15, 5PM is the deadline for holiday meals (Thursday night 4/16-Saturday).

    Interfaith Peace Seder - Gain a new understanding of Passover at the Interfaith Peace Seder. Join students from diverse groups for this fun & thought provoking event. Sign up in Jewish Office by Monday April 12th.

    Professor David Rothman, Director of Center for the Study of Society & Medicine, will be speaking on "Rediscovering Death: The Recent American Encounter with End of Life Decision-making" Tuesday, 4/7 at 4pm at Mathilde Schechter. Admission is free. Call the Department of Public Events to RSVP.

    Come to the Jewish Women's Coalition’s Chocolate Seder Wednesday, April 8th at 6:30pm in John Jay Lounge. Cost is $3 for all you can eat yummy chocolate.

    Be part of Student Reflections on the Holocaust. Let your creative voice be heard through art, music, poetry, prose or drama. Submissions deadline is Monday April 16th. Call Rahel Lerner, Carolyn Slutsky or the JO.

    Israeli dancing every Monday evening from 7:30-11:30 PM.

    The Jewish Office has listings posted on the bulletin board for Israel study, internships, job opportunities, travel, etc. Come by & check them out in Carolyn’s new binder system.
