    § ONEG Tonight with speaker Rabbi Jonathan Rosenblatt: "Are the Orthordox Really Jews". 10:00 pm. John Jay Lounge.

    § Attention First Years! There will be a drop-in center on Shabbat in the Earl Hall lobby from 1:30 - 4. There will be games, relaxing and friends.

    § Saturday night, Yavneh Scholar in Residence Malaveh Malkah with Rabbi Jonathan Rosenblatt. Come sing, schmooze, eat pizza and hear a little Torah. 9-11pm in the Dodge Room.

    § Don't let those shabbos leftovers grow old and stale! JSU & Community Impact's "Project for the Homeless" would like to collect your shabbos leftovers for the Step hen Wise Homeless Shelter. Drop off any leftovers at the Earl Hall steps this Sunday morning at 10 am. Every little bit counts.

    § Join Bikur Cholim this Sunday at 3:00 pm for an informational session on how to visit the sick & elderly. Meet at Ramat Orah, on 110th Street between Broadway & Amsterdam. Contact Matt Jacobs or Talia Swartz.

    § Don't forget! Candidates Forum this Sunday at 6:00 pm in the Dodge Room. Meet the candidates and eat free pizza.

    § Come to the 1st ever JSU Talent Show! Monday November 23rd at 10 pm. If you've got talent, or even think you might have talent, sign up in the Jewish Office or Email ldm18.

    § It's a good to give Turkeys to God. This coming Tuesday, November 24th at 9pm in the Schiff Room, Gayava will be sponsoring a discussion on: Going home for Thanksgiving - confronting differences in identity and religious practice, gay pride & Grandma.

    § Women's T'fillah shiur "A woman & Her Torah", with Beth Samuels. This Sunday at 9 pm in the Earl Hall Dodge Room.

    § Make a dish and join project for the Homeless on Tuesday the 24th for a Thanksgiving meal at the Stephen Wise Shelter. For More info call Danielle.

    § Congratulations to the JSU Intramurals soccer team for winning the Columbia Soccer Championship. This is our second championship in three years. Way to go JSU Intramurals!

    § Come see the JTE's fall production of "The Dining Room" by A.R. Gurney. Performances will be in the JTS Feinberg Auditorium on 122nd Street and Broadway on November 19, 21, & 22 at 8 pm. Tickets are $3 with CUID and $5 without.

    § Lilith Magazine, is seeking student interns. They are looking for applicants who are interested in Judaism, feminism, and journalism Stop by the Jewish office to get an application. Speak to Rabbi Rosenn if you have any questions.

    § Got Meat? The Hartley Kosher Deli does. Open Monday to Thursday 11-8 at 101 Hartley Hall. Remember, the more busser the better!

    Update on the Kraft Center for Jewish Student Life
    As you know this past summer the construction of the Kraft Center for Jewish Student Life began at 115th street between Broadway and River Side Drive.
    Each week we will give you an update on the construction which is approximately one year. At the current time, excavation of the sight is being completed and the foundation is being poured. The steel structure will be erected immediately after, look for it to begin around December. We invite you to take a look and watch our home being built.
