    The Ninth Annual Jewish Collegiate Festival of the Performing Arts is this Sunday at Feinberg Auditorium at JTS. There are two shows, at 1 & 4 pm. We will have over 15 groups performing it's sure to be a great show. There will be a limited number of tickets available at the door. Contact Ilan Glazer or Todd Surden.

    Join Kesher/Reform Jews at Columbia for Pizza & Theology, a stimulating conversation about Reform theology led by Rabbi Rosenn. Bring a few dollars for pizza & tzedakah. Tuesday, February 23 from 7 to 8 pm in 304 Hamilton.

    Rabbi Avi Weiss will deliver a shiur on Thursday at 7:30 pm. The topic is: Synthesizing our Responsibilities to God & Humanity. Thursday at 7:30 pm in 413 Kent.

    Next Shabbat is the Yachad Shabbaton. If you can host a Yachad member, lend sleeping bags/futons, or donate dining services meals/points email either Stephanie Schneider or ss669 or Eric Goren eng7. Also note that Shabbat dinner next week will be delayed to accommodate our guests. Dinner at Hewitt will begin at 8 pm. Look for sign up tables this week at Hewitt during lunch.

Running in Central Park, of course! The Seixas (pronounced say-shus) Harriers is a group of people who run in organized 5k's in Central Park.     The Beit Midrash is accepting applications for a new committee of coordinators. Applications can be picked up from & returned to the Beit Midrash mailbox in the Jewish Office.     The Office of the University Chaplain's Co-Sponsorship fund is available to Columbia University's undergraduate, graduate and professional students. This fund provides administrative and/or financial support to programs that focus on religion, spirituality, race, ethnicity, sexual identity, gender, social justice and community service. The Office of the University Chaplain's Co-Sponsorship fund is available for recurring events, as well as first-time innovative programs. Applications are available in 203 Earl Hall. APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, March 5, 1999 by 4:00pm. Students will be notified by March 31, 1999 of their award notice.

    Stay in NYC this summer and be part of the Collegiate Leadership Summer Internship Program (CLIP)! Join 50 Jewish students who intern in organizations throughout the city for four days out of the week and meet together for a seminar on Jewish topics for one day of the week. 20 students will also have the opportunity to go to the Brandeis Collegiate Institute in Simi Valley, Ca -- all expenses paid -- for two weeks out of the summer. The organizations in which interns are placed vary from Jewish social service organizations to accounting firms; there is a modest (but livable) stipend.     At the current time, excavation of the site is completed and the steel structure is now starting to go up. We invite you to take a look and watch our home being built at 115th street between Broadway and Riverside Drive, across from Schapiro.
