Join Jews for Social Justice and be part of the Spring Hunger
Initiative. Held in April on Low Plaza, this exciting event raises
awareness about hunger in NYC and offers immediate ways for people in
the Columbia community to address the issue. If you are a Jew who
cares about justice, come to 509 Hamilton, next Tuesday at 8:00pm to
be part of this event. If you are interested but can't come to this

Hamishe hangover? Regardless, the Fifth Annual Yiddish Cabaret will
be next Thursday at 8 pm in Milbank Chapel at Teachers College. I
know that getting to 120th Street between Amsterdam & Broadway will be
quite a shlep in your post-Purim haze, but won't it be worth it to see
scantily clad co-eds? The Yiddish Club hopes to see you there.

Stay in NYC this summer and be part of the Collegiate Leadership
Summer Internship Program (CLIP)! Join 50 Jewish students who intern
in organizations throughout the city for four days out of the week and
meet together for a seminar on Jewish topics for one day of the week.
20 students will also have the opportunity to go to the Brandeis
Collegiate Institute in Simi Valley, Ca -- all expenses paid -- for
two weeks out of the summer. The organizations in which interns are
placed vary from Jewish social service organizations to accounting
firms; there is a modest (but livable) stipend. For more information,

available to Columbia University's undergraduate, graduate and
professional students. This fund provides administrative and/or
financial support to programs that focus on religion, spirituality,
race, ethnicity, sexual identity, gender, social justice and community
service. The Office of the University Chaplain's Co-Sponsorship fund
is available for recurring events, as well as first-time innovative
