    On Saturday morning after Yavneh services, Yehuda Kurtzer's father, The U.S. Ambassador to Egypt will speak on his work in Cairo and Jewish Relations there. Earl Hall, 11:30 am.

    This Shabbat Rabbi Sheer will be giving a Shabbat Hagadol Drasha (discourse) on the contradictory symbols of the Pesach Seder. 4:15 pm in the Schiff Room.

    PASASOVER:
    Community Seders will be held the first and second nights. Last chance to sign up is Monday morning before 12 noon in the Jewish Office. The cost is $12.00.

    If you would like to have Passover meals during the holiday you must sigh up in the Barnard Dining Service Office in Hewitt Hall by Monday at 5pm.

    City Harvest Feeds the homeless. We have made arrangements for them to pick up canned goods or any unopened chametz products you want to get rid of before Passover. Bring your food items to the Jewish Office before 1pm Tuesday.

    The Sale of chametz with Rabbi Sheer will be on Monday from 2 to 5 pm and Tuesday from 12 to 5 pm in Earl Hall.

    Can't go home for the last 2 days of Passover? Afraid of missing too many classes? Don't worry. Pesach will exist on campus. We are having nice Yom Tov dinners, Onegs, a picnic, frisbee, walking tours, a brown bag lunch & more. More news to come. If you want to help out contact Justin Rubin at jsr46 or x36991.

    Israel's Biggest Birthday Bash YET!

    Israel Environmental Alert!!! Protest the building of the Trans-Israel Highway by filling out a petition/post card in the Jewish Office. For information contact Dr. Uri Shanas at uas2.

    Dorot, the JSU's project for the elderly, needs volunteers to visit local shut-ins. If you have even just an hour to spare, email Eric Goren eng7 or Dosi Tropper ht88.

    Attention every one who puts up posters: Earl Hall only allows posters on the bulletin boards. Please do not put up any posters on the on the walls, windows, doors, or outside of Earl Hall.

    Do a mitzvah, help those who need to say Kaddish. Ramat Orah, 110th Street Synagogue, has problems getting weekday morning minyan and Sunday Mincha. Contact Justin Rubin x36991 of Eric Goren 851-1154 if you are willing to help.

    Rabbi Zalman Eisenstock who was the head of Camp Moshava for many years has been diagnosed with a serious heart condition and had open heart surgery. He is currently in intensive care at Sha'arei Zetek Hospital is Israel. Please say tehillim for Harav Zalman Aarriel Halevi Ben Yocheved and keep him in your prayers.

    Be part of the Collegiate Leadership Summer Internship Program (CLIP) in NYC this summer! Join 50 Jewish students who intern at organizations in the city four days a week and meet together for a seminar on Jewish topics on the fifth day. 20 students will also go to go to the Brandeis Collegiate Institute in Simi Valley, Ca -- all expenses paid -- for two weeks out of the summer. The participating organizations vary from Jewish social service organizations to accounting firms; there is a modest (but livable) stipend.
