d) RANDOM FACTOID OF THE WEEK:

The Yavneh Personality of the Week is none other than Simeon Avram Siegel.

Simmy Siegel - where to begin?

If you think you know the man behind the Ecko clothes – you're seriously mistaken. This guy's got more layers than he knows what to do with. For starters, did you know that he grew up with peyus (earlocks)- he use to tie 'em under his chin in fifth grade - pretty frum huh? Simmy's way past his haredi stage in life but he has definitely not forgotten his youth. In fact, he thinks he's still 12 years old! Obsessed with Disney movies, cartoons and superheroes (particularly Peter Pan) - Sim's convinced his destiny lies in Neverland. That keen sense of style? His mom picks out his clothes! On a separate note, Simmy is an extremely talented cowboy. His equestrian skills have earned him many medals of bravery and stripes to his name - it has even snagged him a job as Assistant Horseback Riding Coach at Camp Morasha. (Of course his dad was the Head Coach, so we're not so sure it was all merit...) With regard to girls - we all know that Simmy prefers long-distance travel and a cool accent - but ladies, look out - his dad told him he's got to stay local - it was just getting too expensive. Simmy's an amazing guy with a warm heart and great sense of humor - he likes long walks on the beach and hanging off poles in London.

Shabbat Shalom,
The Yavneh Board

P.S. – A message from your e-mail writer.

This is my last Shabbos e-mail as VP of Yavneh. I just wanted to take this opportunity to say that writing these e-mails has been a highlight of the week for me over the past year. It has been a great experience and I will definitely miss being your e-mail writer in the future. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped out along the way – and a shout out to all the Random Factoids of the Week – thanks!

Take Care,
Jakob
