Hey Everyone,

The week is finally over and I’m sure you all did well on midterms and papers. The important thing is spring break is finally here! Here are a few things to keep in mind for when we come back:

-Kraft Center Hours over Spring Break

Wednesday, March 15, Kraft Center closes at 7 pm.
Thursday, March 16, Kraft Center closes at 7 pm.
Friday, March 17, Kraft Center closes at 4 pm.
Saturday, March 18, Kraft Center is closed.
Sunday, March 19, Kraft Center is closed.

-If you would like to sign up for the genetic testing on March 21st, this is your LAST CHANCE to email shira (sri2102@columbia.edu) and take advantage of the group discount we are getting.

-After spring break, Yavneh COLOR WAR will be charging at us faster than you ran out of your last midterm. Events will include Dodgeball, an apache relay and a simcha dancing competition. To sign up, e-mail Eric at eeb2003@columbia.edu or Yael Steiner at ys2236@barnard.edu and indicate any interest in being a captain or general. Get pumped!!!

-Relay For Life is a Columbia University Walk-a-thon to help raise money for Cancer Research. The Relay will be taking place on Saturday, March 25th from 12:00 PM - 3:00 AM. Students must form teams, and one member of each team must be walking at all times. Each team member is expected to raise a donation of a suggested $100 from family and friends. In order for Shomer Shabbos individuals to take part in this great event, we have arranged for teams to either A) pre-pay or B) begin walking after Shabbos. This is a great cause and a great way to get involved in a University-wide initiative. If you are interested in joining a team or in learning more about this great opportunity, please contact Sheri Adler (sa2160@barnard.edu) or Taryn Schneider (ts2133@barnard.edu)

-Do you love Israel? Are you interested in helping to enhance the education of under-priveleged Israeli students? Through the Books for Israel Project, we will be collecting children's and young adult books and donating them to cluster of schools in Israel. To get started, please try to bring back a children's or young-adult book when you return from Spring Break. Look out for an email with more information, or contact Taryn at ts2133@barnard.edu

Have a fantastic break!!!
