Members of the Columbia community will participate in Relay For Life, a 15-hour walking relay to benefit the American Cancer Society, on March 2526. e) Yavneh Circus Outing
Have you ever read Curious George goes to the Circus? Well, this is like that except Yavneh instead of Curious George. After a year and a half of Dave Berman calling all of us monkeys, were all going to join our other animal friends from alpacas to zebras on Sunday, April 2nd. The possible times are 10:30am, 3pm, and 7:30pm. E-mail Eric at eeb2003@columbia.edu if youre interested and include a time preference.

f) Interdenominational panel
Revelation Revealed
Where: Kraft Center 5th Floor (606 W. 115th St)
When: Monday, March 27th 7:30 PM
Is Judaism a revealed religion? Did God have a hand in it? Was it a human creation? Different thinkers from different denominations of Judaism have long debated these questions. Join us for an interdenominational discussion about the nature and importance of revelation in Judaism featuring Columbia/Barnard Hillel's rabbinical interns, as well as special guests from a variety of rabbinical seminaries in the tri-state area. Refreshments will be served.
-------------------------------------------------
g) Chulent/Foosball Competition
Do you like eating chulent? Playing foosball? How about eating chulent while playing foosball? Or playing foosball with chulent? Right... Here's your chance to prove you've got skills-- Yavneh's foosball and chulent competitions. Fri. night, April 7th... Details coming up. For more info or to sign up, email Gaby at glr2102@columbia.edu.
-------------------------------------------------
h) Factoid of the Week!
This weeks factoid features Columbia twenty first-year Scott Rader.
As a wise elder statesman, Scott decided to join one of the best Yavneh social programs, called Assassins this past semester. Through perseverance, espionage, and careful planning he managed to emerge victorious. A short time afterwards he was engaged. Coincidence? I think not. If you have not signed up for the greatest Yavneh social program since Assassins (were talking about color war), I suggest you stop checking your email right now and email Eric at eeb2003@columbia.edu to get in on the action right now!

i) Joke of the Week (spring-break themed)
G-d decided he needed a vacation. One of his aides suggested Venus.
"Forget it," G-d said, "I went there 10,000 years ago and got sunburned."
Another aide suggested Jupiter.
"No way," G-d replied. "I went there 5,000 years ago and froze my butt off."
A third advisor suggested Earth.
"That's the worst of all," G-d answered angrily.
"I was there 2,000 years ago and they're still accusing me of getting some Jewish girl pregnant!"
-------------------------------------------------
Have a geshmake shabbos!
Jeremy, Taryn, Shira, Gaby, and Eric
