There are many kosher items to be found in any dining hall around campus. With the exception of Caf� Nana, the Hartley Kosher Deli, the John Jay Kosher Station, and Hewitt's Kosher Dining Kitchen, these items are not under any supervision and are therefore subject to change. While I do keep in touch with our campus's dining services to see if they have made any changes, it doesn't hurt to ask, "where do you get your bagels from?" every now and then. If the answer is different than what is suggested below, from a kashrut perspective it is advisable to find out more information before you eat. If you do notice any changed please let me know ASAP. If you are interested in having more packaged kosher items at a specific location, please let me know by e-mail at [email protected] which items and which location. I will gladly forward your request to dining services

Around Campus

All bagels are from "Just Bagels" which are kosher
Many baked items are from "Viola" which is kosher
There are "Yummy" and "Hartley" items around campus which are marked kosher
Sabra kosher items are available at many locations

John Jay

The Eskimo Pie Machine is kosher
The puddings (chocolate, Banana, Lemon-parve-, vanilla, rice), apple sauce, and sliced pears are all kosher
The chocolate syrup, butterscotch topping, sliced strawberry topping, crushed pineapple, a cookie crumble (hydrox) are kosher
The "Versatile" Juice machine is kosher
