WHAT IS RUSH? Rush is a period of time, where "Greeks" (sororities and fraternities) hold events for "Non-Greeks" in an effort to recruit new members. During this "rush" period, Kappa Phi Lambda holds a series of events from general information meetings to cultural and community service events. These events are held in order for YOU, the rushee, to get to know the Kappa sisters and what we stand for. There are no obligations or commitments to join during rush, so don't worry! This is a period where you can just relax and have fun with the sisters of Kappa Phi Lambda! |

Rush Schedule Monday 1/28 - 8pm 477 Lerner Dumpling Night with the Brothers of Lambda Phi Epsilon Come meet and mingle with brothers and sisters and enjoy delicious potstickers made by our very own. Tuesday 1/29 - 8pm East Ramp Lounge Sandwich making for the Homeless It's peanut butter & jelly time! Come make sandwiches for the homeless and get to know the sisters at the same time! Wednesday 1/31 9pm 311 Fayerweather Makeovers from Mary Kay After a day of classes, let yourself be pampered by one of Mary Kay's beauty consultant! Thursday 1/31 - 9pm Lerner 568 General Information Meeting Come learn more about Kappa Phi Lambda, who we are, and what we stand for. Friday 2/1 - 10pm to Saturday 2/2 - 4am Gypsy Tea 33 West 24th Street (Between 5th and 6th Avenue) Orientation - Class is in Session - RUSH PARTY View flier Monday 2/4 - 8pm Watt 2L (549 West 113th Street) Meet sisters in the lobby at Lerner Hall at 7:45 to walk over together. Unleash the artist within you and design your very own tanktop! Wednesday 2/6 - 9pm Lerner 568 General Information Meeting Missed the first GIM? It's okay! Here's your second chance to see what KPL really stands for. Thursday 2/7 8pm Watt 2L (549 West 113th Street) Meet sisters in the lobby at Lerner Hall at 7:45 to walk over together.
