Alex Palmisano is the head coach of the Columbia men’s lacrosse club. A Southport, Connecticut native, Coach Palmisano was a standout goalie at Middlebury College where he was senior captain of the team. He received all-NESCAC honors and all-American honors and hopes that his talent and lax background will help him lead the Lions. He is currently a first year student at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. If you would like to contact Coach Palmisano, please e-mail mlacrosse@columbia.edu and we will put you in touch.
In addition, Chris Dugan will act as assistant coach. Chris is a senior in Columbia College and he attended Delbarton high school in Morristown, New Jersey where he played defense. Due to an injury, which prevented him from playing his junior year, Chris coached the team in its 2008 campaign and finished with a win in MSG, Beltway Bash finalists, and a play off birth. Until he is fully recovered, he will use his motivational and oratory skills to provide moral boosts to the team.
